Body of water

In the month of April 2020, Makhluk Seni kicked off #HomegrownMakhlukSenis with 10 days of prompts, mindfulness activities and goals to help us get through the isolation. another stream of consciousness to wrap up the first half of 2020, after 6 months of being harassed by my ex, the psychosis and medication and finding footing to what is supposed to be my next phase forward, I really didn't know what to do anymore with myself with the countless resets. This project has helped and working with the team on the prompts, mindfulness videos and putting together the -ebook, it has made 2020 fruitful. I hate staying and being a victim of any of my circumstances, this is how I fight my own battles that I choose to fight. Day 10 Water you doing? A final piece to tie the bouquet,⠀ After days of crafting away.⠀ Now that we’re at the end,⠀ Which wounds are left to mend?⠀ ⠀ Dear Makhluk Seni,⠀w e ask you:⠀ We water our plants to keep them alive,⠀ How do we water ourselves to do the same? #qua

Growing Seeds

In the month of April 2020, Makhluk Seni kicked off #HomegrownMakhlukSenis with 10 days of prompts, mindfulness activities and goals to help us get through the isolation. This is a prose from a flow of consciousness where I dive into the core of what goes through my mind on a daily basis. It's a constant cycle of these thoughts and many would say that I am too complex for my own good. It comes from the endless processing of possibilities to ensure what would be the best outcome. Day 9 S eeds of Me Seeds. From the wind that spread them far beyond, to the soil that nourished them by the pond.⠀ Dear Makhluk Seni, w e ask you: Out of all the seeds in you, which one made your favorite part about you? #quarantineinitiative #grassroots #PACT2020 #NAPoWriMo #NaPoWriMo2020 Dear Journal, Living day to day and finding sense in uncertainty because inherently difficult when things all seem to revolve around tasks and circumstances that don't have an end. Tidal Wave

In the month of April 2020, Makhluk Seni kicked off #HomegrownMakhlukSenis with 10 days of prompts, mindfulness activities and goals to help us get through the isolation. My years since I left the healthcare industry have felt like me being stuck in a constant roundabout. It may be a different roundabout each time but it still feels like I am starting from square one at different points, making little progress and recalibrating or readjusting but that is life. We don't  Day 8 Like grass under my feet Lately, I’ve been swaying in and out of daydreams,⠀ Shifting thoughts from “could have” to “what if?”⠀ ⠀ Dear Makhluk Seni, w e ask you: In these times of uncertainty, what is grounding you? #quarantineinitiative #grassroots #PACT2020 #NAPoWriMo #NaPoWriMo2020 Every day comes with the waves When you have the strength, You can dive in deeper beneath it Deep within is a sense of weightlessness Fully submerged and emerge after it passes Find solace in a breath before the next wave comes.

This is poem to all the ones that I have loved, some are still in my life and some aren't. There is something comforting about chestnut eyes, the colour of softness, familiarity and gentle eyes. One's that I used to get lost in and when the sunlight illuminates them, its brightness fills my heart with hope.   This love twinkles, in layers of cascading stars that flow down the rivers of the Milky Way, My tears trickle along crow's feet wrinkles, soaked in kindness and acceptance cradled in comfort in the light of day nursing in the forgiveness of the curves of your smile.   There is light in your chestnut eyes Bright as the galaxies formed by countless constellations Flared with resilience and assurance Your presence will last through light years collecting experiences that make you wise Our hearts linked by storylines further than what our eyes can see.   - Swit Marie 0301H 7th June 2019 Hawthorn Manor
