Jibitoo Dias

This is poem to all the ones that I have loved, some are still in my life and some aren't. There is something comforting about chestnut eyes, the colour of softness, familiarity and gentle eyes. One's that I used to get lost in and when the sunlight illuminates them, its brightness fills my heart with hope.   This love twinkles, in layers of cascading stars that flow down the rivers of the Milky Way, My tears trickle along crow's feet wrinkles, soaked in kindness and acceptance cradled in comfort in the light of day nursing in the forgiveness of the curves of your smile.   There is light in your chestnut eyes Bright as the galaxies formed by countless constellations Flared with resilience and assurance Your presence will last through light years collecting experiences that make you wise Our hearts linked by storylines further than what our eyes can see.   - Swit Marie 0301H 7th June 2019 Hawthorn Manor

Amora Light

After writing with nature influences, I started using more space references and it has been one of the things that have always fascinated. 2019 has been a good year of writing for me and it is high time I get back into it. Darling mi Amor,   May the morning light recharge you with the might to fight all the way till the night.   May everything work in your favour right from the beginning till the end.   May all your plans take flight, smoothen out every plight and your motivations and passions glimmer bright to pull you through.   May you set your sights on mountains high, course through rivers of the valleys low and dive with waterfalls with determination and strength.   May sunshine line your thoughts like silver linings that never fade, ever shimmering and glimmering around your bright ideas and dreams.   May twilight give to the spur of inspiration you need as you wake into every new day and the stars guide your heart to constellations that you can call...

Sunrise Comet

I wrote this piece for Julian, he was a comet that I didn't want to part with. We had a good run together and made our way to being the moon where we met every quarter but we wanted to be the sun that greets us every day. This was the moment. I realised I didn't want this to be fleeting as a comet passing. Not one where the orbit would be an alignment of chance that would only happen once in a lifetime. I wanted this to be a constant like the sunrise, the first light I see embracing the horizon. A seamlessly effortless constant that gives us a chance of recurring happiness. - Swit Marie 0911H 4th August 2019 Byron Bay

Amoeba Satellite

Prompts from  Makhluk Seni  for WELP, a movement to 'weaponise' love in all forms of expression. Prompts were released throughout the month of February for writers to submit any short form of writing. This piece was inspired by Netuno's beats. We love the ocean and turtles. The water carries energy and being in the ocean creates this unexplainable sensation of change and breath. Prompt 16 : My Nights Are Filled With Night time is always filled with emotions, memories, thoughts. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. What are your nights filled with? #WELPPACT #PACT2 Dancing stars and flying amoebae Swift in its abysmal away Sitting through the Milky Way Prancing far into time, space and synth waves. Dreaming in Neptune's song A voice where spaceships belong Weaving its throttle behind strong willed hands that tap its fingers along with bobbleheads of astronauts. Discovering the mind field of debris Streamlines of interstellar realities Mixed into multiple parallel galaxies Lay...

Gaze

Prompts from  Makhluk Seni  for WELP, a movement to 'weaponise' love in all forms of expression. Prompts were released throughout the month of February for writers to submit any short form of writing. Recently I have been really inspired by space references and wanted to incorporate it more with my pieces. Prompt 14: Our stars wrote for us... Look up and see the blinking lights sparkle back at you. Watching the night sky feels magical. Sometimes it feels like you're not alone, sometimes it feels like the stars are writing something for you.⠀ ⠀ Tell us: what did the stars write?⠀ ⠀ #WELPPACT   #PACT2 I have seen the way your eyes look at the tribulations of the Earth Seeing through the layers of falsified fronts that people put up The weeping of regrets and sinking of spirits. How your eyes fight so hard from blinking Because losing that moment will lose your true connection with them forever Once passed, the planets won't realign again for aeo...

Spacial Song

Prompts from  Makhluk Seni  for WELP, a movement to 'weaponise' love in all forms of expression. Prompts were released throughout the month of February for writers to submit any short form of writing. Recently I had the privilege to listen to some samples by Blanketfren , I completed the piece while listening to that sample on loop. The inspiration came from some recent conversations between us and some close friends of mine and the urge to use more natural elements in my writing. One of my favourite pieces to date. Prompt 10: I hear you in... The whispers of Love can be heard from many miles away. Sometimes they say something to you, sometimes a reminder,, sometime advice, perhaps sometimes even longing.⠀ ⠀ Tell us, what do you hear?⠀ ⠀ #WELPPACT   #PACT2 Welcome to this space where the Sunday market doesn't close You have room to sit for a pit stop Cross-legged, one leg up, all stretched out As long as your hips have settled in its anchor Tethered by wires o...
