Speak Easy

I made a recent getaway to Singapore and wanted to spend some time living and exploring. I sought out this place not by chance but by pure attraction to a night of fond memories and a new found haven. Your trip will not be complete until you visit The Other Room.

A part of this piece was performed at Rather Spectacular! Showcase led by Scotty Wings. He made all this writing possible and has transformed me with his dedication and work. Here resides the lurking shadows of curiosity
Where the unknown meets the wandering soul
There is nothing more than finesse and character
Carefree and wild is the playful creator.

Sitting in the corner where the corners of her smile
meets the crow's feet of her eyes
Her face caressed by the delicate light
that shines from the warm fluorescence
Leaving a silhouette of mystery and delight
Surreal in the imagery sketched by attention but not quite.

Her burdens and whims seeped far away as her matte lips drew closer to softly touch the velvety layers of cinnamon that welcomed her into the atmosphere of bliss and charm.

The longing for a satisfying, wholesome, riveting, reviving, thirst quenching passionate kiss with a glass of imagination brings her search for a destination beyond her expectations and further into relaxation.

Her exterior shell of inevitable shyness was gently tapped repeatedly till every flake and scale had been subtly striped off by invitation to express simple human nature and desire for sincere connection.

The only regret she left in her purse was that
she did not have the sense to discover this haven sooner
For this extraordinary quintessential exhibit
of intimacy, discipline, valour and humour
Is a gem well hidden in the coal of the tangy Mandarin chest
Residing among the captivating trees of the rich orchard's best.

She left her heart in the other room
where her heart had bloomed
In the other room.

This Is Malaysia

Recently Swit Marie has gotten more active on the HitRECord platform and started working on new material and collaborations. This was definitely the highlight of 2020 for her years of writing in the past few years. Reaching an international audience and being part of a community of creatives through this project involving over 180 contributors. 2020

I  wrote this on the flight travelling back to Malaysia in 2020, leaving Australia after what would have been the last time I see the person that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I was observing the people around me, it was an 8 hour flight with a lot of turbulence, who would have know that 2020 would be that kind of year as well. It is funny how things tell you of what will come in its own little ways.
