SY: Давайте

NaPoWriMo Day 27
Prompt taken from Poetry Cafe KL
Biligual poem!

Write a bilingual poem on any topic. The first language must be in English but the second one is yours to choose. There should be a balanced use of both languages in the poem. I recommend googling and reading Gustavo Perez Firmat's poem "Bilingual Blues" for reference. If you are fluent in only one language, don't be discouraged. Ask around, get advice from others and just have fun with it :)

BONUS CHALLENGE
Use at least 3 of these random words in your poem -> dreamless, machete, hopscotch, carnival, bogeyman, comet, stone, tongues.
Happy writing!

Давайте посмотрим
(Davaytye pasmotrim)
Let us see
С начале уроки
(S nachale uroki)
Нам надо поздравлавать "Здраствуйте!"
(Nam nada pazdravlavat Zdrastvuyte!)
From the beginning of the lesson
It is obligatory for every person
To greet, "Hello!"
C'mon c'mon, every one follow.
Здраст-вуй-те
(Zdrast-vuy-te)

Давай давай все!
(Davai davai vsye!)
"Здраствуйте!"
("Zdrastvuyte")
Расскажите пожалуйста
(Raskazhitye pazhaluysta)
Обо мне?
(Oba mne)
About me?

Обо тебе!
(Oba tebye)
About You!

That is how my Russian teacher starts every lesson
And this is how I start my life with every person
Это
наши жизни
(Ehta nashi zhini)
(That is our lives)
So please tell me your story.

Здраствуйте.
(Zdrastvuyte)
