The Ross to My Robin.

I was thinking about the convergence of TV show characters, and how the plot would be different if two characters were to have gotten together to create a super-couple (or in this case, non-couple). This is to Ross from Friends, and Robin from How I Met Your Mother. 

You are the Ross to my Robin.

This unconventional pairing, 

Of TV characters from different shows,

That in a perfect fandom, 

Would fit together in all its imperfections.

You are the quirky intelligence,

With odd little habits, 

Like a serious attention to detail, 

And an intensity when you look into my eyes.

I am the closed off romantic, 

That allows small doses of glee, 

To escape me when you make me smile, 

But remembers that all this is just a feelingless facade. 

This arrangement works on so many levels,

Because Ross doesn't need a dainty girl,

Or a brainless blonde tart, 

But someone a little bit more challenging from a different TV network.

And Robin is sick of things not working out, 

She's over the men with too much emotion too soon, 

She needs someone with more practicality,

With more sense because she has little of it.

So together this unconventional pairing makes, 

Interesting but revolutionary dates, 

Because neither will let the other fall, 

Because that isn't what this pairing is about at all.

Ghetto HQ

SB is a conflicted soul of sorts, who is mad enough to go chase after what she really loves as opposed to conform to society and her mother's idea of a successful person. She prays she makes it in life, because she will not be able to tolerate the nagging that would follow if she doesn't. Her inspiration comes from everything around her, as well as made up situations in her head. Good luck distinguishing between the two.
